Rooted in Community
Harrington is a dynamic village steeped in history, nature, and the arts. At its heart stands the historic Harrington Grist Mill (est. 1846). This landmark sparked the development of a vibrant community that endures to this day.

Around and About Harrington

Our Story
Founded in 1979 as an Optimist Club, the Harrington & Area Community Association (HACA) has been at the heart of building community pride and supporting local services and events ever since.
From reviving the local library, renovating Harrington Hall, and restoring the historic Grist Mill, to organizing major community celebrations such as the Harrington 150 Heritage Festival and the Homecoming Centennial, HACA has always led with purpose and passion.
Today, the Club continues to energize the community through concerts, potluck dinners, annual fundraisers, and support for initiatives like the Coyote Nature School.
