Celebrate Harrington Community Auction

The Celebrate Harrington Community Auction is a joint fundraising effort between the Harrington & Area Community Association and Knox Presbyterian Church, Harrington. It began in 2020, when both organizations were searching for alternative fundraising opportunities. The Covid Pandemic made our normal events like concerts and church dinners impossible. We have now hosted 6 successful Auctions. The format is popular, and we've had great feedback from participants, who tell us the competitive bidding provides a lot of enjoyment and entertainment, even if they don't happen to be the successful bidder at the end of the Auction. To date the auctions have netted over $38,000.00. This has been split equally between the 2 non profit groups. We thought that the public's appetite for online auctions might have waned with time, but each year seems to be bigger and better than the last. We are very grateful for the public's support!
